A few photos....

Day 5

Lovely weather. Middle group got to the top of the mountain and came down a black run...nobody fell. Top group went off piste and practiced some jumps. Beginners headed towards Val Thorens and went off piste and skied through the trees. In the evening we had more games including a snooker tournament and finished the night with pizza and hot chocolate.

Day 4

The sun came out (briefly). Everyone is getting more confident and practicing their skills for the test on Friday. All the groups did some off piste and skied through the woods. Great fun. Made us all feel like James Bond!
In the evening we had hot chocolate after an exciting quiz won after a tie break by Emily, Natasha, Nicole and Heather. Well done girls.

Day 3

Sorry about the lack of posts and photos. The wifi is very unreliable. It snowed all day yesterday which made skiing difficult but all the groups made progress. The beginners group -with Pierre- started parallel turns. The middle group covered a lot of ground with Fabrice and are now perfecting their short turns, linking them together. The top group tackled some steep slopes and enjoyed competing against each other on the slalom. In the evening we had a games night including Jenga snooker, table football and wi.

Day 1 skiing

We were all up early and ready to meet our instructors - Pierre, Carl and Fabrice (Fab). Everyone had a brilliant first lesson before lunch. It started snowing in the afternoon which made skiing a bit more difficult for everyone, but we all made progress before skiing back to the hotel for dinner and a birthday cake for Cian. In the evening we had a quiz before bed.

First Day

Arrived safely after a long day travelling. Our flight was diverted to Lyon which meant a long coach trip to Les Menuires.
